Crisis Mental Health Services Provides emergency mental health crisis services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Thorough mental health assessments are conducted to determine the appropriate support for the consumer. Assessments are conducted at the Center, at Mercy Hospital Emergency Room, Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez or at a designated location in Pagosa Springs. Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment Provides special therapeutic services for persons with substance abuse problems and for those with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse issues. Therapy is provide for individuals, couples, families and groups.

BBBS is a mentoring program whose goal is to match boys and girls with positive, safe role models, which will set them on the path of being responsible and productive adults. Children must be ages 6-17 and be willing to make a 1 year commitment to the program. Study Connection is a 1 on 1 tutoring program throughout the school year in Durango. Students must be teacher referred.

The new School Based Health Center (SBHC) offers a practical and inexpensive approach for providing preventive and primary health care services to students during school hours. The center serves students who are under-insured and uninsured, are without transportation to health care providers, or those with family members unable to take time off from work to take their children to doctors during the school day.

School to Work Alliance Program (SWAP) addresses the needs of those students who have experienced obstacles to getting or keeping a job, but have not necessarily been identified as requiring any type of special ancillary services. SWAP offers vocational assessments and exploration, interviewing skills training, job shadowing, jab placement, on-the-job training, follow-along services and referral services. Students must be ages 16- 25 to participate.

Places young adults into diverse crews of 6 members and 2 crew leaders. The crews spend a minimum of 4 weeks working together on conservation projects in the Four Corners area. While completing the work, the participants learn about the environment, and how to be part of a team. This program is also a resource for employment. Youth ages 14 to 25 are eligible.
