Twice Exceptional

The Colorado State definition of a 2e learner is a student who is gifted and has learning challenge(s). To be designated 2e, a student must have an IEP or a 504 plan, and be identified gifted. See more at the Colorado Department of Education's Twice-Exceptional site.
